The Centre for Development Studies and Activities (CDSA) established in India in August 1976, as a non-profit Trust and Society, registered under the relevant Acts of 1860 and 1950. CDSA activities namely caters planning meant physical, town planning and management meant commercial management. CDSA was and remains the pioneer institution which proposes that learning must be field based, in micro contexts and using local institutions which are self organized and self managed. Micro associates partners CDSA for sharing its resources in terms of its wide campus and library facility. Its campus is at Bavdhan village, eight Kms from Pune city. The campus spreads over an area of fifteen acres which includes a horticultural wasteland demonstration farm, office blocks, training buildings, seminar centre, library, club house and computer centre. The campus will provide an atmosphere to nurture in understanding and implementing the GIS technology effectively. |
